Just installed the new M8 release of eclipse and I like it, I like it a lot. I am continually amazed at the precision with which the Eclipse team are able to release their builds. If you look at their roadmap, they seem to hit the target every time, very impressive. I’m looking forward to 3.0 very, very much

I'm a software engineer working primarily in distributed simulation and training systems. An increasing interest in photography has begun to soak up much of my free time, but I still find a few hours to beat back the urge to sleep and work on open source software.

For coding purposes, they are VERY good. However, I think it that something like the Samsung 17″ one is pointless: a res of 1280×800 is still no more room then 1280×1024. The Apple 20″ or 23″ ones are the way to go for coding (and everything else).

That is the exact reason I didn’t get the 17″ widescreen . . . unless I was watching a shit load of DVD’s it was kinda pointless.
