I feel the need to vent, but I am containing it. Thankfully the truck loads of laughs I enjoyed when Mick and I went on the offensive over something that was not sitting right with us has put me in a better mood.

How Long?

Question: How long does it take to emerge X, KDE & Gnome in one big hit?
Information:
-Machine is a 2.8Ghz P4 w/ht (1GB ram) running kernel 2.6.1
-Machine is a clean install of Gentoo, just finished so all the X, KDE and Gnome dependencies have to be built also, not just the main bits.

Nup, too tired, writing starting to become crap, must sleep. I could push on but then I’d only be looking at about 2 hours sleep, at least this way I can get a good 4 hours in, which should be enough to function well enough on. I must be getting old.
